Tv mount that lowers

Did some searches on this and found some about mounting tvs outside etc

Does anyone have a tv mount that lowers?
Mine is so high you cannot sit on the couch and watch it comfortably

I’ve seen mounts that allow the TV to tilt, would that help any?

My tv in the garage on my raptor drops down as you say for easy viewing. It drops aprox the height, maybe not quite that much, of the tv. Not sure of the brand, lippert or maybe Mor-Ryde?? Looks like the Mor-ryde, Drop Down TV Wall Mount

in your search try pull down tv mount, add fireplace to your search and you may find more choices. Hope this helps.

I wrote monoprice but havent heard back yet

My tv is only 24 inches, but most of these mounts are for bigger tvs

The way things are going may have to buy a bigger tv and a drop down mount...
This one is wired directly into 12 volt which is nice so did not really want to change it

Could someone measure the base part of the morryde, it looks big
so far i cannot find measurements online for it

They make an adapter to use these for the smaller bolt pattern on the small tvs.

ok good to know

it just looks like the bracket that mounts to the wall is big, but hopefully they will send me some actual specs on how wide/tall that piece is

my guess is that it will work even if close on size for my wall panel

and good to know that i can mount a bigger tv at some point if i want

Actually Mor-Ryde makes one also,
https://www.ebay.com/itm/MORryde-TV5...4AAOSwjlBaS~F5

Looking on their web site at that mount it looks like it has 2 different mounting sizes on the plate that comes with the mount.

update on this

ended up purchasing the mount discussed on page 1

https://www.amazon.com/MORryde-TV56-.../dp/B004OMER86

the mounting plate was a little too low so we had to add some supports to bolt to on the bottom

also for my small tv had to modify a plate to get it mounted/holes to line up

but this works way better
brings the tv down to a normal height so your neck is not cranked back looking up by the ceiling trying to watch it

much better set up than the original mount
