Update On Our new Bullet 230BHS

We have been out twice (8 nights)with the new trailer and have some issue:

Fit and finish issues the dealer has promised to correct:
Warped cabinet door, missing trim (brown plastic) on back of dinette. Scratches on the sink, a stained bunk cushion. Just disappointing for the amount of money we spent but hopefully these issues will be resolved.

More serious issues:
The coupler will not easily slide onto the ball. I think it needs adjusted or the dealer set up our hitch with too much ball tilt??

We also had a power jack issue today that will result in us having to replace the jack. My son over extended it (the kill switch did not work). Good news is nobody got hurt and only the jack got damaged.

On the positive side
We love the look, tow ability, storage, convenience issues (power awning, black tank flush, outdoor speakers, etc), and the amount of space we have in a smaller TT. The slide makes a huge difference. The trailer is a perfect combo for my half ton (GMC Sierra crew cab short bed (5.3ltr.) 4x4 Z-71) and it really rolls and tows nice. The wood plank floor look is cool and the Helium fridge is nice size and cools great. The heat and air work well, we got to try out both in a weekend in Northeast Ohio.......lol

Heading to the dealer tomorrow.

We purchased a 2013 Bullet 281 bhs.

We have had some minor issues. Some quality related and some self inflicted. I guess its all part of trailer ownership.

Enjoy you Bullet and don't let the small things ruin the experience.

Glad you like it and I hope the dealer takes care of you. On our Premier we have to play with the hitch some. When connecting sometimes we have to move the truck some for it to close and when removing it we have to pull on it as we lower and raise it to hit just the right spot for it to open. Once you use it a bit more you will learn what works for you. Good luck.
