New to forums

New to the forum, but I purchased a new 2015 Bullet 220RBI in August 2015. My current tow vehicle is a 2016 Chevy Colorado crew cab V6 with a 7,000 lb towing capacity (GVWR of the trailer is 6400 lbs). I haven't towed in the mountains yet, but so far it's been a good set up. I spent from mid June to the end of October camping in state forests last year. My dog and I loved it and we can't wait to get back out.

Hey... Welcome to the Forums!!!

I've got the 22 Foot Bullet Premier myself and may have a new Chevy Colorado in my future. Currently using the Dodge Durango, but would like a longer wheel base. I looking at the Duramax version with 7600lb towing capacity. I know you just made your purchase, but how does the Colorado do towing your rig?

Chartrand,

Like I said, I haven't towed it in the mountains yet, or for long distances yet, but I didn't have any complaints towing it in the valley area where I live for a few 30 mile outings. Your 22' Premier is about 300 pounds heavier than my Bullet, but the GVWR is only 100 pounds more and still within the tow rating of the Colorado. I should also note that I wasn't any where near the GVWR of the Bullet as both the gray and the black water tanks were completely empty each time I towed it. Good luck!
