2nd AC Unit

I have a 2015 Laredo 320 TG and it only came with one AC unit so we are getting ready to add a second unit. I figured I would stay with Coleman and was looking at the Coleman-Mach 15 15,000 BTU unit from RV parts Country for $630 delivered. I could get a 13,500 BTU unit for $554 but figured for the extra $80 why not go with the bigger unit. One of my friends is a heating and cooling guy and he said you may want to go with the 13,500 so it would run longer and remove more humidity. Does anybody have any experience or opinions on the size of unit I should go with and with RV Parts Country as a supplier?
Thanks,
Bob

In an RV I would get the maximum amount of BTUs you can get. No opinion on supplier.

For what it's worth, I added a second AC (Coleman Mach Energy Saver) to our 2017 Outback 330RL that came with a 15k Coleman. The 13.5k will get the bedroom cold enough to hang meat. We put a fan in the bedroom pushing air into the kitchen/livingroom. I don't know that I would have gained anything by going with the 15k in the bedroom.

We also added a 2nd a.c. in our outback 316RL, it was a coleman-mach 13.5 but and it is plenty cold for the bedroom.

Our add-on is a Dometic Penguin low profile.

Virtually any other a/c would put us at over the 'magic' 13'6" height number by a couple inches since I also have taller springs and a 1" spacer on the suspension. 5er is now at 13'4" over that BR a/c

We have the 13.5 A/C in the bedroom, factory installed. Many times in marginal temperatures with high humidity we run it on low to dehumidify the fifth wheel. We winter in mid Florida so this is a common occurrence.
