More importantly when looking keep an eye on the brochure listed carrying capacity of the new 5th wheel. I have seen way too many with extremely low CCC, like less than 2,000 on a 40’ 5th wheel. This was also a unit with the raised rear kitchen or living room so lots of storage, but low CCC.
Good luck with your hunt.
In his profile picture, it does show a SRW. So your numbers may be legit.

Is your 5th wheel only 3 years old? Maybe money is no object but a trade will most likely yield a low ball trade in offer.
I agree the Montana is a great line.

Thank everyone I’m going to continue looking. Plan on taking a trip to a dealer and look at the different floor plans. Reason for looking wife wants a different floor plane. She fells there are some out there that will give her more room but in the same size. Will see. As for value dealer will have to pay off what I have or no deal. Will see not in any hurry thanks again everyone

Creative financing will almost always solve that problem....

The "work-around" dealers use is to inflate the purchase price of the new unit to compensate for the increased trade in value/payoff of the old unit...

Typically there's a 25-35% markup on new units. A "creative dealer" can easily offer you a 10% discount on the new trailer and a 10% increase in trade in value and come out making an extra 5% over a "clean purchase".... So, stay alert for what the numbers really mean in any proposal a dealer might offer !!!!!

It’s just like a car dealer.

Shoot, they can even give you 10k more for the trade than what it's worth if you give them a 10k down payment too! There are many ways they can twist that lid....just make sure that credit score will let them.
