Triple axle Tire temperature differences

I have a forty foot with all new tires and all pressures are at max. When loaded, tire temperatures all stay within 10 deg of each other. The other day I drug it down to the dealer for a recall (unloaded) and just for fun checked the tire temps. The ones on the right side (all three) were 15-20 deg hotter (@115 deg) than the left. Any ideas why?

Yup. Mine run up to 20 degrees hotter on the sunny side over the shaded side going down the road.

Two things come to mind. Exactly what was mentioned (sun) is probably your difference, but also remember the crown of the road favors the driver's side tires. This isn't an appreciable difference, but at interstate speeds it will maybe amount to a couple degrees.

There's a lot variables, the sun for sure.
Is the rv level, nose high will put more weight on the rear axle/axles causing heat.
If there's more weight loaded on one.
On mine I confirm the pressures/temps of the tires on each side separately are running close to each other, if so not too concerned about a high temp as long as all on that side are close to the same.

I too suspect it is the sun effect.

Each time that I fuel up, I use my digital thermometer to check both the tire and hub temps at each stop just to make sure that nothing to out of the ordinary and to avoid a roadside tire change/breakdown and have had great success in doing so.

Passenger side tires normally runs 5 to 10 degrees warmer than the driver's side on the interstate.
