Tallulah Gorge State Park - Tullulah Falls, Ga
Unknown Water Fall - Yogi in the Smokies, Cherokee, NC
Jetty Park - Cocoa Beach, Fl

To be fair these are walking distance from the camp sites, let me see what I can find from the site.

Peace and quiet. My kind of park. Note Charlie scouting the perimeter for drones and overburdened, payload challenged tow vehicles.

Yes it was. There were 4 or 5 buddy sites around the CG. I think ours was the nicest though lots of space and that big fireplace was cool, no smokey campfire.

Camping at 10,000 feet! We really like this little campground just outside historic Cripple Creek, Colorado. Just grassy spots, and only elec available, but water and a dump station are near by. Each spot has a fire pit and picnic table. Little stream runs through the middle. Usually have to use the heater year round, but otherwise really comfortable. Close to gambling, fishing, hiking, and even a theater.

Dry camping on Terlingua Creek, in the old La Kiva campground.

The Big Bend region is one of our favorite places.

The stars at night... are big and bright... deep in the heart of Texas.

My neck of the woods. Spend a lot of time on the Lake Michigan shore.

Oregon State Parks

Beachside is a small park below Waldport, Oregon and my favorite spot backs up to the beach. Nothing better than walking a few steps to the beach and hearing the surf.
