I'm 71 and prefer 8 hours or at least 350 miles. Always the 3rd day means 2 nights so I'm not getting much farther than you. [emoji1]

I usually have a destination. Like from here in Illinois to Florida in winter, and from here to North Carolina to see kids and grandmother I drive between 6 & 700. Just going somewhere else about 250

My hubby (almost 85) and I (76) enjoy about 300 miles a day. We both drive, towing a 28 foot Keystone Cougar TT. I have to say that he usually drives a bit more than I do. I do the planning a few days before we take off from either end, and navigating while he is driving. We try to change our route a bit each year just to keep things interesting. A few years ago, we did many 500 mile days, but have decided to slow it down a bit now that we are older.

60-65 mph max. Try to keep a day of driving to 300 miles on average. Sometimes 350 or so. We leave by 7AM, have a coffee stop around 9, and get to our next stop by 12:30/1PM. Gives us plenty of time to look around and do things in the afternoon. Just completed a 6200 mile 9 week trip with another 3000 miles for side trips in the truck.

Trying to break my 12-hour habit as I get older. I'd like to keep it to 6 hours a day, feel more refreshed for the next day's driving but I still fight the urge to keep going 'one more stop'.
