Yes that is what the switch has ( my mistake on calling it 4 pole and not 4 wire conections).
I am looking for a switch that has the jumpers inside of the switch just like the origanal switch, just have not found it yet.
I will also ck the wiring for loose and bad connections.
Wires on switch are 12 guage white / yellow, and black on the awning arm, have to see if I can see the connections for that junction point.

Your switches are a very simple "pop out" of the control panel by the front door (assume your 2018 is the same as my 2022).

See the YELLOW/WHITE wires on the left? That's the awning control wiring. THOSE CRIMPS WERE TERRIBLE. A quick pull on them and the spade lug end popped right off. I'd start there by re-crimping all of those connections with better crimp ends, followed with heat shrink. Get the marine grade ends and a good crimping tool.

Start there! I'll wager that's part of your problem right there.

I replaced switch with one just like the original, but have not been able to ck if problem is solve as trailer is inside barn very close to wall (no room to operate awning.
