New to the group. Texas Rvrs

Just joined. We love our Avalanche 320RK. Have been doing the Rv thing for about 5 years. We have a facebook page "Camperin-it Texas Rvrs" please like the page. Found the page due to a concern of the "floating wall" issue. The rear of our camper seems to be seperating from the camper. Heard thru the grape vine that this is normal. Hope to see you on the road.

Welcome to the forum. I can't recall any major discussion about this separation issue here on this forum but it may well appear to be a problem. The backs of many Keystone RV's are "floating" and it feels like the back is not attached to anything unlike the sides. If you were to push on the back, it gives and flexes which is "normal". It is held in place along the top, sides, bottom and around any windows but that is about it I believe. If this is what Keystone told you then, it is normal -- just doesn't feel like it is though.

On our Cougar 5er, the back does the same thing.

Perhaps some of our Avalanche members will chime in and give their perspective on this issue.

I did call Keystone and they recomened me to my local service center. The service center did advise me that it is normal. The rear of the camper has a bubble that seems to change with the temp. I have no water damage or leaks.

Have the same floating wall (rear) same as yours.
