Advice Needed - Moutaineer in Cold Weather
Hi there,
I'm looking at the 2011 Keystone Montana Mountaineer 295rkd for full timing, and possibly in colder weather (ex: December in Denver, Colorado) for a few months out of the year. I've read that the Montana is a good unit for winter camping, and that skirting and electric heaters can help off-set the cold. However, the R-9 walls and R-14 roof and ceiling concern me. Those r-values aren't as high as I've seen in some other units, so I'm wondering if the claim that the Montana Mountaineer can keep you warm in sub-freezing temperatures holds up?
Anyone with an opinion/advice/recommendation? It would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Alena
