What we like about our 28SGS
*Light weight, fuel is not going to get any cheaper.
*31 feet long, we can get into most all campgrounds and most all the sites.
*Windows, just love the views we are able to get from inside, you never feel closed in. A big deal for us.
*Opposing slides makes for a huge living/kitchen area. Another big deal.
*Sitting positions make for direct front view of TV, no turning heads 90 degree.
*Nice private bathroom access.
We did change out the couch for a lazyboy loveseat wall hugger recliner, best mod ever. It does however, make it hard to stay awake while watching TV.

Just got a 2015 327RES. Besides a few initial issues (Warranty resolved) we are loving this layout. Just got back from 7 days in Destin and 1300 miles R/T. No issues. the Basement suits our needs and there is alot of cab storage inside.

Good to know! From the Keystone website it looks like the High Country line has been moved from Cougar to Montana. Website only lists Montana High Country. We've fallen in love with the High Country 293RK floorplan. Need to take a look at one now.

Yes! I forgot about these two. Both were huge selling points for us. We refer to our living area with dual recliners and flat screen TV in front of us as the "Ultra," as in the Ultrascreen theaters with recliners that are popping up all over ha ha.

October will be 4 years since we bought our cougar and the only thing I wish I had was self leveling still thinking of buying it and installing myself. The wife said this camper should last till we get ready to retire so I guess 10 years would justify the price of a lippert level up system.

We chose the Cougar 333MKS, and are in the honeymoon stage with our week old 5er! The floor plan is SO spacious and it has all the features we wanted, so we went over our 35 ft limit a bit. My husband has been a fantastic hauler and parker of it already! SO happy with our decision!!

We have the 313 rli, it is pretty much the mirror image of the 333.
* Opposing slides give you much more room
* We love the center island and extra counter space
* there is a washer dryer hookup, we don't use it but it's on your list
* Storage underneath is good for us and there is a slideout rack on the bumper, 200 lbs limit, we use for bikes
* Full sized shower... love it

The only thing we really would change is the table and chairs are pretty tight, we took out 2 of the chairs for more room.

Same here. We leave two of the chairs at home. Someone on here also said that they turned their table 90 degrees.

All I can say is if you've got the dollars, get the auto-leveling system. Every time I use it I just stand back and watch with a big smile on my face!

Hello All
My wife and I just purchased a 2015 Cougar 29RLI and although we have only had it out twice, it is awesome. The intro to the trailer was rather quick, but, the guy just kept saying "Just push the button on the remote, you can't break anything", so far this has been correct. We have lots of storage in the basement for our needs, the only thing that I would change, so far, is a different placement for the pull handles to empty the black and gray water tanks.

We have a 2015 327RES, absolutely love it. The bathroom door not being what the wife calls a suicide door (where you have to step down a step to open the door) was a major selling point to her. The opposing slides in the living area gives us plenty of room to relax and enough room at night for the kennels for our 2 Huskeys to sleep. I do have to admit I've about filled up the basement, but I probably carry too many chairs LOL. This model is light enough that my F250 handles it without any complaints.

There is room and hookup for a washer and dryer. It is in the front closet area. The basement space has quite a bit of room. I can put my full size direcTV dish in there without disassembling it.

I feel we got a good quality nicely laid out unit for the dollars. No major problems since we picked it up.

Just an update. Book length was 32', measured length from front nose cone to the rear bumper is 37'. I know the book values are not perfect, but I was surprised to find myself with 5' more trailer. Still really like it after probably 20 nights or so including dry camping. Great unit for the money.

Keystone brochure list the 2015 as 37', so they must have caught their mistake and corrected it.

We also have a 327RES and it really is a nice camper. Only problem was a blister on the front cap that my dealer made worse by trying to fix it but other than that no problems except very minor things. Been in it 10 nights at Gatlinburg and found out in the single 15k air conditioner is not enough for that size camper but we took care of that. Auto level was standard on it and would never be without it again! Tows like a dream and I like the fact you can access the food, bathroom, and bedroom without having to open any slides which is really handy in walmart or rest areas.

[QUOTE=svanarts;176286]Oh trust me... I've cast longing glances at the toy haulers. My wife just says "have fun, don't be a stranger". She won't live in a garage, as she calls it. But that would be great! Nothing to disassemble and I could actually use that as an office as well.

My wife was turned off by all TH also until she saw the 325SRX that we bought(4yrs ago) and have yet to see anything better suited to our needs. Its a TH without being over the top so to speak, and still gets the job done.

We had a Cougar 27RL for several years and found it to be great and with very few problems

We needed more room and a different floorplan so now We have a Cougar 29RLI and only have a couple weeks camping with it under our belt
So far so good
A couple mods here and there were fun to do

We like the floorplan and the room the 3 slides give us
Also the weight was perfect for our truck and the price was perfect for our wallet

Heading out in Oct on a 5 month camping trip

We will be able to post "how do you like it now?"comments when we return

Good luck with your search
And wishing you much fun on your camping experiences!

Purchased a 303RLS in Jan 2015. Have a few local, no more than 3 hrs drive, trips so far and everything seems good. Did a massive PDI before we signed on the line. Only have one or two items we are taking it in for warranty work, more cosmetic than function. Liked the center island, hutch and opposing slides with the theater seating across from the TV. Had every option available except 2nd a/c and I just added that in July. Length is about 34'8" by book, haven't measured it though. Small enough for me to not hate pulling it and large enough that if it rains a few days I don't go stir crazy sitting in it. Got it for about 33k. One downside I can think of is that with the bed on a slide out there is no under-bed storage available, under the bed is the slide out motor and mechanism.
