Ok 2012 Cougar 327RES. Both rear slides have small 1/8" holes rubbed through the roof at the front of the slide. I looked when the slide is in it is right at the edge coming from the inside seal, appears the seal is rubbing a hole through the roof. The slide's sit above the axle and I'm wondering if it has enough vibration to cause the rubber seal to "saw" the roof membrane. Any way, last fall, i put a dab of dicor on the hole and after a 60 mile trip it was rubbed through. Any ideas what to do or use. The dicor is sticky and sticks to the seal a little bit. I'm thinking if I can find a thin enough "patch" of some sort that doesn't affect the seal, I can put some rubber between the seal and roof patch from the inside, after the slide is brought in and before moving it to prevent the problem. Thoughts?
Is eternabond sticky at all on the roof face side? And how thick is eternabond?
