Portable totes

Where does anyone carry their portable totes? I just bought a thetford 35 gallon and was looking for some ideals on where to carry it.

I think Dhuhn is referring to storage tubs. oldfamer is referring to the rolling dump tank.

Mine's in my front pass-through storage. I rarely use it, and if I had more room at home, I'd leave it in my garage.

Some people rig up a vertical storage rack on their rear trailer bumper.

Throw mine in the pickup bed till we get to the site, then store under the trailer next to the dump manifold for easy access... Only carry it when we're headed to a camp that doesn't have full hook-ups... otherwise it hangs on the garage wall...

Do a search on here for totes. I saw pics of how one person mounted there's up under the trailer behind the landing gear. About where ur pash thru storage is. Just make sure not to put an holes thru ur tanks when putting in brackets to hold it. Good luck.

When we are going to a campground where we will need it I carry in on a lawn chair rack that hangs on the ladder on the back. I put a strap on the top and a bungee cord around bottom.

Portable tote bumper rack

This tote rack is welded square tubing sleeved at the top for a hold down bar, and at the bottom for a mount which is welded on to the bumper. Removable cleavis pins at the top and the bottom allow entire rack to be removed when not needed. Rack has two steel slotted fins welded on, which the axles slide on to prevent side movement.

Bed of the truck. I have seen several strapped to the ladder.

As others stated. Only when I need it it goes with us. I put it between the 5th wheel hitch and the truck tailgate. It's tight but works fine.
