Aaahhhhhh!!! :)
That's what I keep saying.
My work (I'm a crop duster) has me traveling to areas throughout the country a few times a year for a couple of months at a time. I'm tired of renting a room where I work so I have been thinking of getting an RV to live in while I work.
It seemed kind of whimsical and never thought I would do it...but last Sunday, on a whim, I looked at RV's (for the millionth time) at Camping World not expecting to actually find anything that grabs me.
But, as I entered the Sprinter 333FWFLS I was hooked. An hour later after going back and forth and running numbers, I found myself the owner of an RV.
AAAAAHHHHHH!!! sorry. I keep doing that.
This is a new adventure to me. I've never stayed in an RV, but have often thought about it. This is going to be a steep learning curve and I imagine I will have lots of questions!

Welcome. hope someday I can be of help. My only fees are a ride in the crop duster if you're ever in my area. Always loved watching them as a kid growing up on a farm. I did get to ride in an Air Force T-38 a few years back, but I think a crop duster would top that!

to the forum from W TX and congratulations on the new RV. You will find tons of information here and knowledgeable folks willing to help. I live in farming country so from March to Nov. I get to watch, and wake up to, the crop dusters flying all around us

I was one until I retired the first time. Too lazy to work or too nervous to steal? Be a pilot!

Now if you could just build a Vans RV with enough useful load to spray from, you could spend both days and nights in an RV!
Welcome and congrats!

I built and flew an RV9A and don't recommend sleeping in it. Wonderful plane but no kitchen. :-)

My Dad was in the steel business and he used to joke that he was in the iron and steel business. He said Mom ironed and he stole. :-)

I've flown an RV6 - fun little plane but yeah, wouldn't want to sleep in it, either. I now fly a Dakota and a Bonanza. Wouldn't want to sleep in them, either.
Maybe my quip was a little too subtle - I was implying the OP could fly the Vans RV during the day and sleep in his newly purchase RV at night.

Ummmm, I hope you have someone to drive the Class A as it could be a long walk back to get the plane!

Thanks everyone!
Ha ha...I don't think I would want to spray with an RV-x. Just not crashworthy enough...because you will hit stuff when spraying.
At the museum I work for in the off season, we have an RV-6A that we use as a personal get around for the Sunday morning breakfasts.
As for the trailer....I'm still in shock! I take delivery around the 12th of Feb and then will be in it for about 6 weeks for work.
