Talking Greetings from Oregon

Super stoked to take a break from loading up the new Cougar RLSWE that we just took delivery on today! I'm so excited I can barely think

We pull with a 2010 Toyota Tundra. Our experience includes constant upgrades over the last 10+ years, starting with a tent of course. We had a Viking Tent Trailer for 5 yrs, then upgraded to a used 1995 Layton (18ft) which was very quickly (within 4 months) upgraded to a 2008 Trail Cruiser by RVision. We pulled with a Jeep Grande Cherokee at that point, so needed to keep it light. Once we got the truck though, of course I started dreaming about something nicer... I've drooled over this layout for three years now and finally convinced hubby to make another jump.

It was a little trickier getting it in the parking spot (we're very close to our house and neighbors), but he did better than he thought he would. It'll get better with practice.

We typically camp on the Oregon Coast year around, spending over 30-45 days a year in the trailer, so this upgrade is huge. Trips planed so far are a 3 day trip and a two week trip in July!!!!

Can't wait to learn more as I peruse the forums!

Your newest Fangirl,
Nitka

Welcome to the forum from your northern neighbor. The Oregon coast is one of our favourite places to visit and camp - you should feel fortunate in having so many great places to camp so close. Enjoy your new RV and all its creature comforts. Safe travels to you and your family.

Maybe we will see you over there this summer. Look for the 25RLSWE with Idaho plates.

Congrats on the new rig! We're in Bend and hope to be spending more time on the coast. Maybe we'll run into each other...
