New Bullet Owner

Hey all,
My wife and i just towed home our first travel tailer! 2016 bullet 243BHS. We have been going back and forth on this TT since January. our main concern was as first time campers in general as a family are we going over the top!

A little about my family. I am Active Duty Air force! I grew up tent camping and slowly transitioned to staying with relatives in a small TT. My wife and i met in high school in 2005(10th grade) And we went camping for the first time after graduation. Needless to say a tent in Northern Michigan in the rain was not her thing! fast forward 9 years later Marriage careers and two kids we decided it was time simplify our lives and enjoy some outdoors. So here we are!

New TT Two Kids Two dogs and getting ready to have some fun. We battled with smaller TT but decided we didn't want to be back in 3 years buying a new one.

Setup so far: 2014 Ram 1500 Crew cab. Bighorn Edition. Max towing package to include 3.92 Rear end. Depending on source between 10 and 10,500 Towing capacity. 2016 Keystone Bullet 243BHS Eastern Edition! Made the Dealer throw in an Electric tongue Jack and WDH But the WDH i think is Harbor Freight Brand so going to upgrade it.

Hey, Vance, how do you keep 'em in Michigan once they've seen Panama City....Many thanks for your service from a total Marine Corps family. Keep up on those promotions, big guy, because a 3500 w/Cummins and a late model Montana are probably in your future!

Thanks for your service and congrats on the TT. Enjoy, and if you can buy your first trailer looking long term you will be better off. Happy Camping.

Thumbs up

Hello All.
First post in the Forum. We are considering a Bullet 243BHS. We were considering the Rockwood 2509s, but I'm leaning towards the 243BHS.

Question Please:
Does the Bullet have Ducted A/C and Heat to the Master Bedroom with the queen bed?

Thanks,
Kirk

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
I would think your Bullet would have ducted air into the bedroom. Our old 2013 Cougar 24RKSWE has. A Bullet owner will chime in to answer for sure. Enjoy.

The Bullet brochure states "ducted air". All the models I seen at the winter show 2 months ago had ducted air in the ceiling and heat from the floor vents. BtW, the Bullet is a great coach. We enjoy ours tremendously.

Congrats. We have a 2015 272BHS Bullet. We love it. It has ducted A/C and heat through the floor vents.
