Newbie from Texas with a new Cougar!

Hello to the forum here! Just bought a new 333 MKS and loving it! I'm towing it with my 2010 Dodge 3500 Laramie. As stated we are new to this adventure. The wife has worked for an airline for almost 20 years and we've been around the world a few times. We took our first road trip last year in her car(Prius) and had a blast. We drove 4654 miles in 10 days with no reservations anywhere...we just winged it. We went up Route 66 to the Grand Canyon and on up to Yellowstone. Then cut over to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and back down thru Colorado back home. Estes Park was where we were headed but the Big Thompson flooded out the day before we got there. BTW we averaged 39.6 mpg's on that trip. Don't think the new rig will match that!lol I have a couple questions about pin boxes and which is best but I'll move to the proper forum for that. I just wanted to pop in and say hello. Happy Trails Everyone!

Javi I did indeed purchase at Genuine RV. I had been looking for a couple months and they by far had the best price around. I had also talked with Tony the owner about a Trail Air pin box or a Hensley hitch and both he and my salesman talked me out of doing anything. They both said "I would even know it was back there!". Well I do notice and when I called them back about getting one they tried again to talk me out of it. I now have a Trail air Tri-Glide but still need to install it. I also just put up a new RV cover this past weekend. I'm on here now to research what products I need to protect/condition my roof and also find out what to use to wax and protect the exterior walls. I noticed when I washed it this weekend that it has not been waxed at all. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it as I see you have been doing this for a while now and getting advice some someone with lots of experience is preferred. Thanks in advance Javi and maybe we'll see you on the road one day!
