Smile Trying to get time away from the farm !

Hello,
My husband and I recently purchased a 2014 Bullet 251 RBS with the intention of getting away from our dairy farm and seeing more of our beautiful country and exploring our neighbour to the south ! A couple of weeks ago we took our first trip and all went well except for a few minor hiccups like when parking your rv make sure you have enough room to reach the power outlet or have an extension cord with you( thank goodness the provincial park had a loaner) and the toaster setting off the smoke alarm in the trailer at 8am yikes ! Lessons learned lol.
I look forward to reading more of the postings as we still have lots to learn !

Thank you !

Glad to see you are able to get away and enjoy the new adventures. I grew up on a dairy farm and we seldom got away. Something about milking twice a day365. Most people can not appreciate the commitment it takes.

Howdy and welcome to the forum. Never lived on a dairy but I did milk 5 cows twice a day by hand when I was a kid. Got paid a gallon of milk every other day and a pound of butter a week by the elderly widow woman that owned the cows.
