Newbie here! But informed thanks to the forums :)

New to RVing and just purchased our first TT. It's a Cougar X-lite 31SQB.

So far I have to say that my dealer Camping World in Holiday FL has been awesome, especially my salesman Dale! This guy is either psychic or eavesdropping on comments I make to my wife. IE I mentioned I wanted an Electric tongue jack and later he comes back saying "I got Jeff (manager) to throw in that electric jack you wanted". This has happened more than once, like with vent covers, door handle, etc. I know they aren't huge items, but the fact that I didn't ask him to throw them in and in fact had already put a deposit down makes them HUGE to me.

Congrats!! Sounds like you did real good. All I got was a $25.00 gift certificate to the parts department.

I am getting back at them now...I work there as a tech LOL.

LMAO That's a great way to get back at them.

Thank you. I think we did real good compared to what I've seen out there.

I'll admit I never used to like camping world, the first one I went to seemed overpriced, but the more time I spend in the lifestyle the more I've come to realize they probably do more for the industry and customers than most people realize. I guess there's a reason they have 50+ locations.

Sounds like your salesman is getting you set up with all of the things you would be disappointed you didn't get. Congrats on the new purchase.

I didn't buy through camping world, but I did get maxxairs and a trailair king pin thrown in, not to mention $30K off the list price.

Thank you all.

Yeah, we got a leftover, so quite a good mark down. But the perks and convenience of there locations as well as inventory, just an extra thumbs up
