New Here from Washington State
New here, however not new to camping. Was a BoyScout back in the day. Started camping, or so I am told, at 3 months old. Camped as a kid a lot at Horseshoe Cove, Baker Lake, Washington State. Backpacked all over Washington State as a teen and young adult. Started Car camping about 10 years ago and bought a truck camper 7 years ago. It got to be to much of a hassle climbing down from the bed so I sold it and got a 1991 Prowler 25’ 5th wheel. I sold it a couple month ago and just bought a 2008 Keystone Cougar 24RLS. I have not even picked it up yet from the dealer I bought it from. I have a 2001 Ford F-350 4x4 7.3 diesel, automatic trans with 3.73 gears to tow it with. PHP Hydra with a bunch of different tune levels on it. I am a Ham Radio operator (KD7KBK). Lots of 6V batteries are in the near future for this trailer. I don’t even know what charge inverter is in this trailer or if I am going to need to change it for my battery choice.
