Need Help: Front flood lights won't turn off.

I have a Keystone Travel Trailer 321RES. On my 1,500 mile drive home from Texas, I noticed the flood lights on the front and the light on the front right side were on.
Step 1) I checked the switch on the panel and it was in the off position. I flipped in on and off a few times, but no change.
Step 2) I went to the fuse box and pulled the fuse that was marked for that set of lights, but nothing changed.
Step 3) Seeing if the fuse box was mislabeled, I pulled all the fuses. Still the lights are on.
Step 4) I used the battery disconnect switch. Still nothing.
Step 5) I disconnected the trailer from the truck. Still nothing (now I am also wondering if the battery disconnect switch is there but not connected) I have not physically disconnected the battery from the trailer as I know that will turn off the lights. I have plugged in the trailer to AC now so as not to drain the batteries.
Step 6: I am posting this thread.

Help

Try turning the light off with your remote control (or "InCommand" system). Most (almost all) trailers with remote control systems are wired so that if a function is activated with the remote, it will not deactivate with the manual switches. This is a "design feature" to prevent someone from damaging their system by using "remote and manual" switches at the same time.

THANKS!!!
That is not something that I would ever crossed my mind. There is a possibility that I could have activated it by accident. I rarely use the remote control, but it was on my key chain

It will be the remote I'm sure. I have a 319RLS and on our first trip I returned to TX from FL with the front lights on and unable to figure out what was going on. I learned (possibly from this forum) that those lights operate with the remote and if it's used it is the only thing that will turn them off. Your experience sounds identical to mine. Clicked the little "light" button on the remote and they went off....

Don't feel bad I did the same thing when I got my new Cougar with a remote. It took me forever to figure out I did not know what I was doing, so I too got on the forum and sure enough I was informed what the problem was. Thankful for the forum

the forum is better than me using a Sawsall to cut open the wall and track the wires.

GOOD DEAL !!!!! The remote is a "stumbling block" for many noobies. Now you know... Trust me when I say you won't be the last to fall into that "trap"....

I am finding all sorts of strange things with the travel trailers in their construction. I guess you get what you pay for.

This brand may be similar in quality to others, but that leaves a lot to be desired. What I want is the workmanship quality of a Bently, the reliability of a Subaru at the cost of a Radio Flyer Wagon. (yes, I like fairy tales too)
