Wink 2011 Cougar Xlite TT

New to the forum----the proud owner of a 2011 Xlite Cougar TT. We have had it out seven times and have just short of 1000 miles on it----all within 150 miles or less from home. We wanted to get acquainted with the TT before setting out on a long haul for the summer.

Towing it with a 2007 Toyota and have no handling issues thus far thanks in part to the Reese load distributing, anti sway hitch. Looking into the possibility of getting air lift bags to help save the Toyota suspension and perhaps prevent problems down the road. I did invest in a set of McKesh tow mirrors manufactured by Hensley MFG, Inc and have no problem seeing what’s behind the almost 35 foot rig--- great alternative for factory tow mirrors if needed

Had a few minor warranty items with the unit that the dealer took of without any glitches---cosmetic issues really except for the shower the sprayed all over due to a faulty faucet.

So far it has been an easy and relaxing adventure each time we have hit the road with our Cougar but time will tell whether all the literature and accolades are true or just hype to make a sale.

Which Cougar Xlite did you get? We got our 27RLS in October and absolutely love it. It needs to go in for a couple of warranty issues and two recalls but still....even though it ticks me off that these aren't checked out or put together better....we love it...
We also have a 2007 Tundra....it pulls it wonderfully! :>

I have a 2010 Cougar. What two recalls did you have? I have problems with my oven not staying lit while I am trying to bake.

recalls?

I also am interested in recalls on the 27RLS. Ours goes out of warrenty in march. Have also had a few issues but not enough to make me even remotely dislike it! I cannot wait for spring! Have trips planned for April, May & June!
