Pin Box

Does anybody have to the torque value for the bolts that attach the pin box. Appears that is attached by 4 bolts and I notices that it has moved. So I was wanting to loosen it up and reset it. I hit a pretty hard bump and I think thats what made it shift. I guess if it had to give that would be the best place. Checked on the Lippert site and really didn't find any kind of torque specs for anything. Really like the idea of the air ride pin box, but not sure if it's worth what they are asking for them price wise. Just seem like it would help withn the wear and tear. I has to make the ride better I would think. I don't know maybe more research.

The air pin box will reduce the peak stress (what causes frames to fail) to a safe level. Mine has 16 bolts, 2 rows of 4 on each side. I torque them to about 120 ft lbs, but with only 4 I would shoot higher.

Depends on what grade bolts you have. I have 14 (7 each side) grade 8 bolts and torque them at 200 lbs. I highly recommend an air pin box, really makes for a smother and safer ride. I have the 5th Airborne and like it, but any of the air boxes would work

PS. They have listed torque values in INCH-Pounds.
