Power trouble

I just bought a 2017 m369 toy hauler and discovered a problem with my power. When I first hooked up the 50 amp shore power, everything worked fine. I have no idea how long the gas for the generator has been in the tank so I was told to run it dry and put fresh gas in. No problems with the generator or power from it, however, when I turned it off, none of the ac appliances worked with the shore power plugged in. I've checked all the fuses and breakers I know of and then restarted the generator just to have air conditioning. Any ideas on how to get the shore power to work again?

Maybe check for a tripped GFI outlet.

Your transfer switch is in the Generator position and needs to be switched back to Utility Power position. Not sure if yours is automatic or manual.

Your transfer switch may have tripped the breakers on the shore power pedestal, or as mentioned, possibly a GFI.

Turn off all 120v breakers and turn them back on to reset them. Don't forget the pedestal Find all GFIs and hit the TEST button to trip them, then restore them.

Good Luck,

I've had shore power breakers go bad and only run half of my stuff, had to put my 30 amp cable on to plug it into the post to see if that was the issue and it was.

Camping area came and replaced it and everything was fine again, now I use an inline surge protector that has lights that change color if something isn't right.
