The Storm app by Weather Underground is pretty good. For Canada I like the Weather Office app.

We use the WeatherBug app. Gives radar and all other info. The radar feature has saved us from driving into thunderstorms and tornadoes a couple of times.

Howdy All;

Mostly I use a rubber weather ball suspended from a tree branch.
If it's just hangin' there ... nice day
If it's movin' ... breezy.
If it's movin'n alot ... heavy winds
If it's wet ... must be rainin'
If it's shiney lookin' ... might be icy
If it's not there ... cats musta got it ... again

METAR and TAF via ForeFlight.

I would wager most here don't know what METAR and TAF is, so I didn't mention them. One of the best "civilian" WX apps I've used is Weather Underground's Storm.

I have found weather.gov to be the most accurate for current wx and forecasts, there is also an aviation link with METAR's and TAF's. For radar I use wunderground.com Nexrad.

I have a weather app on my Ford SYNC navigation system which I use and it shows the current radar on my route. I use a Garmin RV GPS for my mapping and traffic. I also have tire pressure and temp sensors. My wife says I am just trying to make this thing look more like a cockpit everyday but it keeps her busy!!!!!
