Slider Cables

Good morning all. We were pushing out our slide today and went out different than usual. Looking I see one of the cables hand started to unwind and tangled up.

I need to replace the cable. Is there a specific kit to purchase?
I have seen a few on amazon, but not sure. I cant seem to find any details on the keystone site on a replacement wire.

I have a 22 keystone sprinter 3570lft

Thanks for any help.

Click here for a replacement kit.

The site will have the crimper and the wire cutter at the bottom, under that section ... frequently bought together. I think my total amount for all 3 was around $100. I ordered a couple more cable kits and keeping them in the camper along with the crimper and wire cutter. So, I have 3 more kits ready since my last break. Well, it's now been over a year, so hopefully I'll never need to use them.

You WILL need the cutter and the crimper too.

I have those cutters. They are the only ones I have seen that cut clean with no frayed ends.

Yup. I was going to suggest that if using any other means of cutting the cable, to put the ferrule on first so you can slide it down to cover the frayed end, otherwise, if you cut it, then try to twist the ferrule onto the frayed edge, it won't go easily and may not go on at all..... It's much easier to use the right tool, prevent the frayed ends, but if you don't have the tool and can't borrow one, put the ferrule on first then cut.
