Connecticut has the 3rd worst road in the USA! Rhode Island leads the way! Guess where we live? (Hint... three miles from the border!) LOL

Good Luck,

Ain't it the truth!! No matter how hard you try they seem to find a way to block the road you chose to take.....no matter WHERE it is!

This sounds like Michigan in the summer. You cannot go north/south/east/west.

Ain't that the truth !!! We're at Groveland this weekend for some family events and it seems that everywhere they're "constructing" is where they shouldn't be and everywhere there's a series of pot holes, there's not even any orange cones. Sort of like, how can we best disrupt traffic, even though other parts of the road need repair much more than where we're working......

JRTJH - I know! There is no rhyme or reason to the construction pattern. The roads are so bad that no matter what they work on something else needs it more.

This is CalTrans!!! Friday evening, get-out-of-town traffic nightmare and - yep - Caltrans has 2 of the 3 lanes closed for 3 or 4 miles - no workers or work in progress - just 3 or 4 miles of cones. Almost as if it was quitting time and they forgot to pick up the damn cones.

No, there is a plan

Locally we're certain the schedule road work during the times when there are big events. State Fair, car shows, race weekends.
