Elite Resort-Salt Spring Ocala FL.

We just got back from spending the weekend there. Clean nice concrete pads with concrete patios. Full hook ups for $35 a night. It is located in the Ocala National Forest"383,000 acres.

How close is this place to Salt Springs State Park? I looked at going up there last month to SSSP but had to cancel at the last minute. I wanted to stop at the Elite place while I was up there to check it out....looking at trying to go again in a couple of weeks .

If I remember correctly it is very close.......down the street!

You can always call state park and ask - it's been a while since we were at that state park.

We rented a pontoon boat just the other side of the state park for the day and had a great time on Lake George!

Salt Springs is actually a National Forest campground. Some sites have full hookups. .

Elite Resorts is a private campground across the highway

The Salt Springs area is worth the visit.

It is a National Forest CG, but it does have full hook ups.
