Battery disconnect switch

Looking to put a battery disconnect switch on my unit. Any recommendations on design/style?

Marinco makes a very nice one. Lots of spots to install between battery and trailer, on TT I usually put them on the inside of the frame, and if it's easy to reach, under the front edge to help keep water off it.

Many discussions about which side to installit on, use the POSITIVE cable.

I personally don't like them. Exposed for one, easy to drop something and short it out. I remove them from trade ins..

I installed a rotary type inside the front compartment of our 5er, easy to reach.

I did the same on my Cougar and have everything ready to do the same on the new Montana. The battery cut off installed on all units never does the job.

No they don't!
They usually leave on several parasitic draws, with the total cutoff I installed I have left the rig at the storage yard for tow to three months and ran the slides in and out several times in that time period.
