went to canyon lake for some fishing and lounging in the water. trip was great except for the inside fridge of my 5 day old camper kicking the bucket and 150 bucks worth of food going bad.

Make sure you check your spring packs and axles before you go very far. My new 2014 Laredo 314RE had broken spring packs on all 4 springs.

How's the camper? I bought the same model about a year ago. Other then the outside kitchen door delaminating, haven't had any problems. Wondering how yours is holding up.

both the main and bathroom doors are being replaced since they won't open or close unless you use a lot of force, driver side tires have chunks coming off of them, outside faucet leaks and ruined all the wood inside the outside kitchen compartment lots of trim issues, tail light fell off honestly I'm not real thrilled with it but it could be me just expecting too much. hopefully you have better luck than me

From a previous post, what the situation was:
All 4 spring packs had broken springs. Not the spring that is the longest spring and attaches to the frame shackle, but generally 2 of the remaining 3 leafs were cracked into at least 2 separate pieces. One of the long leafs that attach to the frame shackle was virtually bent flat because all 3 leafs were broken.

I replaced both axles, and all 4 spring packs with 6 leaf springs rather than the 4 pack spring pack. I wanted to keep the same tire size which limited me to how much bigger the new running gear could be. The max size keeping the same wheels was a 5200# per axle set. Which I also added wet bolts to all the pivot bolts (and grease them once per year). I checked the springs just about a month ago and all springs are sound, aligned, wet bolts rotate easily, wheel / tires are wearing evenly, no cupping etc. I added a TPMS system and all tires maintain temperature and pressure ranges consistent with normal aligned running conditions.

As for the Laredo itself:

I had the roof tank vents changed to a vane type of vent because of odors and that solved the odor issue.

I have replaced ALL of the side skirt aluminum straps because they all broke due to vibration. I replaced them with 1/8" x 1" aluminum bar stock (Home Depot) and all attaching hardware with stainless steel nuts / bolts. None of the replacement straps have broken.

I did add a A/C to the bedroom area. It is very noisy from the blower but you do not even hear a diesel pusher right next to you pulling out at 4 am.

Oh, the living room A/C control board failed (relay failed), but a replacement board was easy to obtain ($85, was less than the $100 deductible) and install.

Everything else is running very well. I do use it regularly which also helps keep all the appliances running well.

The Laredo is not top of the line, but we are comfortable in ours. I definitely would not add anything to the frame. I do not think there is much margin for anything in the Lippert frames.

Be safe

Holy cow!! I'd be livid if that was my trailer, you're not expecting too much. I've had none of those issues, although I did notice the faucet for the outside kitchen was leaking and discovered the connection wasn't tight. After I tightened it, no problems. Sound's like you have good reason to be upset, I'd park it at the dealership and insist they make it right.
