Howdy All;
Only a thought, it may be the gap between the door and the frame on the latch side might be just a tad to large. The trailers will flex while traveling (design feature, sorta like airplanes wings do flap while in flight keeps'em from breaking off). So maybe, the door is becomming unlatched on it's own.
Suggestion, use a bungee cord to help hold it closed .....
