Blade vents for A/C

I have a 2022 316 rls. The blade style vent covers don't send the cold air downward. Has anyone replaced these? If so what was your choice

I haven't done this, but I remember some time back there were some that cut every other blade from those vents and they claimed they got improved air flow and that would also improve the flow of air down from the vents.

I have the blade style vent covers in my Cougar 23MLE. Since hot air rises and cold air falls I do not worry about the vents blowing down.
