2010 passport 245RB

just wanted to know if I have the right truck for the job. I have a 03 F-150,
5.4 V8, 3.55 limited slip axle, 6300# GVWR package, class 3 tow pkg with a heavy duty WDH.
The passport 245RB : shipping wt. 4591#, Carrying Cap. 1409#, Hitch Wt. 400# Do I have the right combination, truck + trailer? thanks, Dave

Welcome to the forum .... There are several Passport owners here that I think are towing with 1/2 ton trucks. I'm sure one of them will be glad to share their knowledge. The CGVWR is what you should be concerned with, but I think you will be OK with that trailer.

The Ford F-150 is what was shown on the cover of the 2008 Passport brochure so i'm sure that it will tow it just fine, I use the Tundra to tow mine and have not had any problems, even in the mountains of east Tennessee, my trailer was billed as having an empty weight of 4580lbs and a gross of 6040lbs, I always figure that I travel at 5600lbs.
