A pedestal table with a small base, when mounted on a thin plywood (or OSB) floor, is going to be "wobbly"... There's not much you can do about that. Maybe reinforcing the floor (difficult in slides) or installing stiffer attachment fittings (the floor will still flex with any weight applied to the table top)... Otherwise, if you want to use the existing table configuration (base and installation) you're going to have a "wobbly table".
There are two alternatives to improve the dining table and make it more sturdy. First would be to improve the table pedestal/base so it has a larger footprint and spreads the support over a larger part of the floor surface. That "may help". Alternatively, and in my opinion, the best solution is to remove the pedestal table and replace the pedestal with 4 legs, one on each corner of the table top. That way, you can either leave the table legs not secured (use tie downs during towing) or secure each of the table legs to the floor for even more security. That way, there's no flexing, no bending and no "poorly secured, small pedestal" to contend with. If you use the existing table top, you can maintain the existing décor or if you want to change décor, purchase a table or table and chairs, but stay away from a pedestal table if you want a "sturdy table top" that doesn't flex when you use it to stand up and lean against the tabletop......
