Welcome to the forum

Loads of great people and tons of great information here, so maybe we can help you get the most enjoyment out of your money pit.

Lol, we have it set up in our backyard, been camping in our backyard.. A/C went out..found out the one that we had Carrier AirV no longer exists.. got an Atwood..also ordered an awning, found out the fabric isn't wide enough..now the batteries will not stay charged..we keep it plugged into 30amp outlet; man it gets hot in that little moving hut..

Does anyone body know if the battery should run down even when plugged into a 30amp outlet?

Only if your battery disconnect is on. When in that position it does not allow the converter to charge the batteries.

"it looks good, but it is a money pit."

Yep, they all are. Toys (boats, planes, RVs, etc.) are what we buy to dispose of excess money

Welcome to the forum from SE Texas. This is a great place to get information on almost any "moving hut" repair. Good luck.

Welcome from the Midlands of South Carolina!
As an old saying goes: If it's a plaything for an adult, it's going to be trouble at one time or another. Over time I imagine that you'll find that a problem is just an adventure in how to repair something.
