I have a 2015 Passport Grand touring 2450RB pulled by a 2016 Tahoe LTZ with tow package. I am a retired Army Warranty Officer and currently preparing to fully retire when I finish my job as a GS Civilian working for Department of the Army. I am getting too old for these war zone deployments and look forward to seeing the beauty of our land with my wife of 36 years. We love our TT since we use it for short getaways and camping. I am sure if we wanted to live in it full time we would find it inadequate, but compared to a put tent it is a travelling palace. We have added an enclosed room for under the awning, bike/cargo rack above batteries, stowage box above bumper, flag pole, shower and bathroom sink fixtures and Oxygenics shower head, 40 inch tv in bedroom with WD Live boxes at each TV with 2TB networked drive storage. Added RV-wing to antenna and the RFL-342 signal meter inside. More mods in the works, especially as I read through the forum and see the great things others are doing.

Welcome from NE. Have fun. The RV will be like a house. No matter how many mods you do there will always be plenty on the to-do list. Some you just need to walk away from and go camping.

I hear on the news that 1% of our countries population joins the military to protect the other 99%! Like the others here I thank you for your service.
Going on 8 years retirement and I can tell you time is about to speed up once you step off the daily grind of employment. Weekends used to go so fast when we worked and the workweek took forever to pass. Now the weeks go faster then the weekends used to and the years just flow by while the body parts seem to head south.
Enjoy this Forum; there is plenty to learn and also to add information and experience. Living in the NW you will have plenty to see and do, now if we could just get out of this winter and into some good weather!

Thanks NorthwestGuy, and welcome to the real world of insanity.. ~(8=), After I retired from misc work life we did all kinds things but the trailer life came first, kids gone, Gkids up and out . We had spent several winters in So.Mexico, with the trailer for 3-4 months, then one day we were thinking , we knew more about the western states of Mexico than we did the eastern states of our own US. So we started out volunteering. What a great opportunity to see our country , stay at a place for several months for free (except for about 25 hours a week work easy to do. ) .. Then go see the country side.
Well again Thanks and take care.
