New Cougar X-Lite owner from Montana

Howdy from Montana. I've been lurking around and browsing this forum for a while now as we've been shopping for our next camper. We shopped all over the country and looked at every camper we could get in. After a lot of pondering and back and forth, we finally got into a Cougar we thought we'd like from YouTube videos. We were sold. It's just what our little family needs. The floorplan is great.

Earlier this month, we picked up our ordered-for-us 2016 Cougar X-Lite 28RDB from Adventure RV in Cheyenne, WY. We went ahead and got the Executive Package with the frameless windows and the solid-surface counter. Very nice. Dealer experience was good--they are a small outfit and were very good on price and easy to deal with. They installed a hitch on the back for our three ATVs.

We went from a pop-up to a hybrid toy hauler to a fiver. This is our third camper and our first Keystone. So far, so good. She tows like a dream.

I'm looking forward to contributing here and becoming part of the group. It looks like a great place. Here's the only picture I have so far... I was being chased by snow and didn't have time for too many stops. Can't wait to get out this spring and enjoy it.

Looks great congratulations! I wish I could double tow my ATV trailer but I'd be somewhere around 75 feet and I'd be illegal where I live.

Thanks for the welcome.

It's going to be a bit of a train. But we ride out west and about everywhere we go, it's legal and I hope, fairly straightforward and doable.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy the new 5'er. That was a good little trip for you to pick it up and see how it pulls home.

We love our 28RDB and have camped in it for 2 summers now. It's the best layout for our family too!

I'd like to be able to pull my boat behind the 5er but over 85' is frowned upon by the police around here.

Thanks again for the welcome.

We'll be under the length limits by a good margin for all the places we go.

Welcome from West Virginia. That's a good lookin' rig you have there. Hope your Cougar is as trouble free as ours has been.
