Hello from the P.N.W.

This June me and the D.W. Finally got the set up we have been looking at for a couple of years. A 277RLSWE 1/2 ton series Cougar 5th wheel, but I soon discovered that it would not match up to my 2015 F-150 coyote 5.0. So ended up trading that in for a F-350 6.7 Diesel and happy as a clam at high tide.

from another PNW family. Can I ask where you purchased your cougar? We are thinking of a cougar for our next unit. Purchased our Bullet in Kelso

I got it from Camping World in troutdale Oregon but had such a bad sales experience would not recommend them, it was a dealer trade from Camping World in Burlington Wa.

Ah-ha...we too had such a poor experience with C.W. Troutdale, we drove 50 miles south to Salem, OR. to purchase our Alpine from Hi-Way Trailer Sales and saved $7,000.

We got ours at RV Coral in Eugene about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Great service right after too. Honestly can't say what it is now, there's been some staffing changes. Doesn't mean it's bad, just that I don't know.

Good news is that we haven't needed to take Her in for fixin since the very beginning (bad window sealing, got new window).

Good luck, enjoy the chase. I know there's a couple of RV shows going on around the state.
