Question Hello All, Buying a 2003 Cabana 2300

After getting many many years of camping in my '79 Jayking, I have decided to purchase a 2003 Cabana 2300.
Upon inspecting the camper before purchasing it (I haven't bought it yet) I found the top corners of the tent ends where they are fastened to the wall opening had pulled away. The dealer has agreed to replace both tent ends BUT it has been 3 weeks now waiting for them to get it done. I am getting quite frustrated at this point. They say they are waiting for the "J" channel to arrive so they can put it together again.
Is it possible that something so simple as that could take THIS LONG to get?
Does anyone have any ideas on sources for this "j" channel?
Any input and advice about this camper would be very much appreciated.
Thanks All for any help and ideas.

Welcome from PA!

Often getting parts for our campers is difficult even from the dealer. I'm not saying the dealer didn't drop the ball in your case, but it wouldn't be abnormal for the J channel to take that long.
