Slide Seals
I have 2015 cougar lite the outer seals on the slides are cracking, I don't think this should happen this quickly. Anybody have same problem. Does anyone know where I could find seals or after market seals. Also has anyone installed them.
Thanks

Camping world has slide seal lube. I use it once a year on my 07. Seals look good still.
Since your trailer is a 15, check warranty. You may be able to take it in and have the seals replaced.
Pics say a lot.

303 on mine each and every month. Never had a problem. Also, I use it on tires.

I use baby powder. A little messy but works to make the seals soft and lubricated also inexpensive. Sprinkle powder on a cloth and wipe on seals.

Just a note about using powder. The FDA just announced that they are restricting all powdered gloves in medical facilities. Research indicates that talc and even cornstarch can cause some significant health issues. Granted, using baby powder (talc) on RV slides is a very remote health risk (if a risk at all) but I'm guessing baby powder will become difficult to find in the near future.

Just my luck. I find something that works and I can afford and they find it's not safe.
Next thing the FDA will be saying is vodka is no good for me! lol.

Vodka is fine and actually the FDA thinks you need more! [emoji12]
Talc is inhaled and not cleared from the lungs and clogs up the respiratory system. Sad, a good, but dangerous, product.

OK, I've got an idea, could you mix "x" amount parts of vodka and "x" amount parts of talc and have the ultimate slide lube? ......
I know, a waste of good vodka.

LOL! Talc for your slides. Vodka for your insides! Double-winner. Maybe they could put a tax stamp on the talc......

Wonder what they found wrong with cornstarch. Been using it to thicken gravies & sauces for 40 years! While drinking vodka!
Safest thing is to stop reading the "net"?
I use 303 & used to use some brand of seal lube. Never had a problem.

OK, so you guys that use "303", which one is it (they make several different types) and where do you find it to buy? Maybe post a link or the name of the store if bought locally through a chain type store.

I buy it by the gallon from Amazon. With Prime membership, shipping is free.
There are two types of 303 that I'd consider. The conventional and the Marine/recreational type. I don't know what (if any) difference there is, but both have worked well for me. I'd suppose buy the one that's cheapest for the size you want to purchase ??? The price seems "steep" until you consider that I'm on my second year on one gallon and still have enough left to do that trailer once more in the spring.
Here's a link to both types:

Thanks JRTJH and Sandy43 for the links. Is this the same stuff though that the guys are using on the slide seals? That was going to be my main use for it.

I use the "standard version" (not marine). I put it on everything, slide seals, tires, roof, FILON siding, front cap, awning, slide covers, truck tonneau cover, tires, vinyl/plastic dash/trim, leather seats. Pretty much, everything but the truck paint.....

Nice, one product for everything! I wonder if it would help me to decrease my lap times at the motorcycle track? God knows I need all the help I can get!
