Arrow Bullet premier 19 owners

Hi, We purchased our new Premier 19 in mid-October. We were at the end of a 7-week trip to Niagra Falls and the east coast. We were at a KOA in Maine, and fell in love with our neighbor's camper, researched it, and purchased one. We are not new to camping - been at it for 44+ years. We started out tent camping in the late '60s, and this is our 7th camper - all of different varieties and sizes. We pull with a Dodge Durango V8 Hemi. We only used the Premier for 2 weeks before we had to put her away for the winter. We're looking forward to travels in the spring. We love road trips, mountain and desert camping, boondocking, you name it. I was very active in another forum so was thrilled to find this one. Are there any other Premier 19 owners out there?

That was the trailer my wife an I really liked, but we needed a bunk house and wanted to stay under 30ft OAL. In order to get a bunk house in a premier we would have had to buy a much bigger trailer than we wanted.

There are a few of us here but always room for more. Welcome.

I've made a few mods to mine including spring bar storage in the pass-thru, adding cabinet doors under the queen bed, and adding custom full length drawers under the dinette. You can find pics of all of these projects if you search through my posts.

It's a real coincidence that you are mentioning the save-mor drawers. When we were looking for Bullet Premier 19s, the drawers under the bench were a real attraction to us. Unfortunately, the trailer we purchased didn't have the drawers, so I contacted Camping World to find out what it would cost to put in the drawers...$2,000. They said they would have to replace the whole booth plus labor. After getting that bad news, I actually found your mod on this forum. We're gonna do it, but I believe we'll wait until after our warranty runs out in Oct. 2014. We don't want to take a chance that Keystone will void it because of this modification. We actually drove half way across the country (literally) to purchase a new 2013 because we wanted the bathroom window, which the 2014 lacks. The drawers were the only thing missing!

We have a 2013 Premier but it is a 31, just a little longer. We love it. Ours came with the drawers which was huge for us.

Welcome from Upstate New York! We have a 2012 Premier 19FBPR and love it. Spent a week at the Bar Harbor KOA last June and then down the coast of Maine. Fantastic trailer for the two of us. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours!

When the time comes to add the drawers, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if I can help in any way.

I go to a local dealers website periodically to see what changes Keystone has made to the newer models and noticed about 3 weeks ago that the bathroom window was missing in the new models. I certainly understand the cost savings that this change must provide Keystone, but IMHO it makes the trailer a little less "Premier". I think you made the right choice to trade the drawers (which you can add later) for a bathroom window.

I totally agree!!! Our 2013 was also a late enough model that it has the faux wood floors, which we love, and the painted nose cap (not so important). We're definitely satisified. We sold our 2013 R-pod 177 HRE to our son for the trade-in price we would have received (a real steal for him, you can imagine). We loved our Pod, but we had to step up into the wet bath and had to climb over each other in bed. We had bought tons of expensive equipment for it (attached 8 x 16 tent, awning, cover) and had made a lot of great mods before he bought it from us. As soon as we saw the Premier 19, it was love at first sight, and we had to have it - flat floors to the bathroom, great tub/shower, isles on both sides of the bed, perfect size.

Guarantee we'll contact you about the drawer mod. Yours is exactly what we envisioned. Thanks for the offer. We're also going to do the under-the-bed opening. The only thing we've done so far is switch out the lights to LED.

Hoping to get this post active again. I am going to pick up my 19fbpr in a couple of weeks. Any things I should be looking out for?

There is a Pre-Delivery Inspection Check List which is found as a Sticky in the Keystone Questions section of the forum. I'd suggest that you download it, print it off and take it with you when you do your walk through at the dealership.

Take your time doing this and make notes of everything and anything you find that needs "tweeking", repair, replacing or adjusting. Best to get all these items taken care of at the dealership before you accept it and make final payment.

If there are any such items, have a timeline in mind when you want them completed and get it in writing.

Don't walk away unless you have a complete understanding of all the various systems and where essential items are located: water pump, winterizing valves, etc. You would be surprised at the number of RV owners who don't know where their water pump is and never ask during the walk through.

Thanks Festus, I found that check list and have it saved on my desktop. I have a feeling that inspection is going to take a few hours.

When we originally posted on this forum, we had only spent about two weeks in our new Premier before we had to winterize. We just returned yesterday from a trip to Santa Fe for 11 days. We love it as much as when we first purchased it. We have noticed that our front cap has a rather odd paint job. You might want to really inspect that when you pick it up at the dealer. We still say we can't think of a thing that it doesn't have that we would want - it has it all! Went through a tremendous wind storm on our way back home from NM. We were impressed - not a speck of dust inside the camper. I tried to start a community for Bullet 19 owners. Have had no response. Maybe you'll join?

This is my first TT and I bought it mostly for work. My first trip was from NH to New Orleans and the camper followed my Tacoma extremely well. So far I don't have any complaints. I couldn't be any happier with my decision. Looking foward to the end of this assignment so I can truly enjoy the TT camping experience.
