New Bullet 272BHS

Just picked up our 27' 2014 Bullet 272BHS in Waco TX, 3/11/14, from Great Adventure RVs (great folks). We spent our first night at Flat Creek Farms to check everything out. All went well except for the weather. At midnight the winds picked up to 50-60 mph. Fortunately we had no problems other than delaying our departure. We pulled our Bullet back to Austin with our 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi, 3.92 rear end, 8 speed transmission. We averaged 55 - 65 mph at 13.2 mpg. Other than the wind, hardly noticed the trailer in terms of drag, plenty of power with the truck.
Interestingly, on our way up to Waco to trade in our 19' travel trailer approx. 3000 lbs., we got better gas mileage the faster we went.
Looking forward to outfitting the trailer. Two trips planned: Old Settlers Music Festival, followed by Utah parks. Looking forward to trying out our new trailer.

Nice unit and welcome to the forum. Just a thought, the book lists your trailer at just under 31 feet so I would use that number when reserving sites to be sure you fit. Have fun.
