Does Furrion actually exist?

Trying to register our Cougar 26 Furrion entertainment system, but their on line product registration system failed me all week.
So I called and left a message 2 days ago and haven’t gotten a response.
You’d think something as easy and virtuous as product registration might work better.
Sorry if that sounded crabby

Don't have a Furrion product and dodged the RVs that did - never heard of them. Looked at their web page and read their "mission", goals, how they started. Sounds like a few folks trying to realize their "world view" goals. I'll stick with mainstream stuff.

They must exist. I see appliances made by them on a daily basis.

Furrion does exist. They're a part of LCI, you know, that "super giant industry leader" who produces almost everything for RV's and almost always is the low cost bidder in the RV supply chain.... Oh and they build pretty impressive buildings with those low cost bids......

You can see one of there facilities from the Indiana Toll Road around the Bristol exit. Nice signage nice building. Bye the way, we have three of there TV's and two of there entertainment centers. I like the picture on the Furrion better than the Visio at home and the Entertainment center is far simpler to operate than the Sony in our last unit. Everyone has an opinion.

Apparently my tongue-in-cheek rant was not as apparently ironic as I thought.
Sorry for the confusion - I know they exist. Just wondering why they aren’t communicating.

Your tongue in cheek rant isn't lost.... I'm currently "eating popcorn with my tongue in cheek" in another thread on the forum. It's Saturday evening, rain forecasted for tomorrow, mosquitoes abound in northern Michigan, so not much to do but "cruise the web looking for pictures of buildings to post on the forum".... <sigh> such is life or in the words on that great American writer who wrote so much about Russia, "And, so it goes".... I haven't been looking at much of anything as far as weather but, man, there IS a heat wave. Here in W TX we have a prediction of temps in excess of 100 degrees for 10 days. On the other hand, having been in FL for months, returning the last couple of weeks, with temps in the mid 80s and the high humidity....we agree that we can both do 100 degree days with low humidity EVERY day vs mid temps and high humidity. Took pup out for her walk today at a little lake we have; temp 101 at 7pm. Walking around and having fun was FAR cooler than taking her out in FL, or even AR, at 85 degrees,

Air conditioners and license plate brackets are about the only thing LCI doesn't produce for RV's...... Who knows what plans to buy another segment of the industry might be in the works at LCI......

I agree. LCI seems to have their brand on so many things. On the other hand, branding a lot of stuff doesn't necessarily mean you make a good product or pay attention to their production quality....

Just wondering does the penal system still have a lock on licence plates?
If so Furrion is out of luck.

License plates and "prison furniture"... GSA buys almost all office furniture from the prison system. Maybe we'll see Furrion desks next year ??? LOL

Kind of an ironic thing. Back when I was with the RCMP here in Canada my job was procuring the vehicles and anything related. We got a bid from the local prison in Agassiz BC for the security back seat cages that secure prisoners in the patrol cars. They were not the low bidders (governments and RV manufacturers only take lowest bidder) but they built darn good cages. Who could figure out how to build a "better mousetrap" than the people that use them.

Got a call from Furrion today, unfortunately while in the back woods of northern Maine (in our new Cougar, which is great so far).
So I missed the call. But at least they are trying.

I have a Furrion observation camera system. The mount for the monitor didn't work on my aggressively sloped windshield. I called them, got past their customer rep, and talked to their manager. He was VERY receptive. He sent me a re-designed mount at no cost, and it works perfectly. I am very happy with Furrion camera, and more so their customer service!

Yes they do exist.

Glad you had a good experience and I am sure mine will be too.
My ‘do they exist?’ Comment was tongue in cheek and arose from the challenges of simply trying to register my product.
