15amp fuse at 7 wire trailer conection

I found a blown 15amp fuse on a wire coming from the hot lead on the 7 wire connection box. It is spliced to a purple/white wire that goes into the interior on the trailer. It is grouped with 2 white and 1 hot wire. Everything seems to work but I have not tried the hot water heater.

According to the Keystone Color-Coded Unified Wiring Standard Tech Guide," 10-gauge purple appears in the "Power Feeds & 7-Way Trailer Connection" chart for "Electric Slide-Out Feed/Single Conductor." I can't imagine that a slide-out feed runs through the 7-way connector, but they share the same chart. Every other purple in any of the charts belongs to a slideout category and is also 10-gauge.

The only other color approximating purple is some pink leads -- an 18ga to the water heater, 14ga to most of the accessories, and a 10ga to the 12V accessory outlet.

If you search around the forum for that document title, you can find your own copy.

Okay, I just bought this trailer 3 weeks ago. The previous owner had some work done on the slide out. But it works maybe there was a little modification to the wiring. It looks like a 10g up front. Thanks for giving me some direction.

Of course, if the previous owner added circuits, he would have used whatever color cable was on sale at AutoZone, and the labeled fuse holder could be from there as well. I myself have added a few yards of red and white to the auxiliary circuit...

Did a little poking around in between all the day to day stuff. The wire is for my "solar prep", I popped the adapter off and they spliced the red wire to a purple one. Checked with my meter and that's it.
