As for RV windows, many are now "e-coated" with a film that protects the interior from UV rays. On some, that coating is on the inside, on others, it's on the outside. Check the owner's manual/window manual included with your RV to determine if abrasive products/polishing compounds are suitable for your windows. YMMV
I posted this because I "destroyed the windows in a sun room by using ammonia and newspaper to clean them..... Cost, roughly $2500 to replace the windows. We elected to leave them alone since we were selling the house within a year..... Again, YMMV
