Passport 2910 owner...
We recently sold our hybrid Trail Cruiser and bought a brand new Passport 2910. Our family has grown considerably since we bought the hybrid and we had our eyes open for a bunk house that worked for us.
We went to a camper show this winter and found several "light" weight bunkhouses and kind of fell in love with the Passport 2910. My wife's requirements were 4 bunks and a deep slide. Mine was that our current vehicle (1/2 ton Suburban) could tow it.
The 2910 pretty much fit all of those as it's GVWR is at or under my tow capacity of the Burb and it had the four bunks and the deep slide.
We slept in it the first night we had it and are planning to sleep in it again tonight at home. The kids love having their own beds, and there actually wasn't even any fighting over who got which bunk!
We can't wait for the snow to melt and spring to get here so that we can get out with it. I look forward to exploring the forum.

Isn't that Funny!
You folks up North wait for the snow to melt so you can take your trailers out and usins down South wait for the Snow Byrds to melt and head North so we can take our trailers out. Our brand new Copper Canyon has been sitting in storage since January because there's no place to camp or RV until after Easter here in Florida. Don't get me wrong, we like the snow byrds I just thought it was really funny.

ktosv, Welcome to the forum and enjoy your new Passport .... even if it is in the driveway.
Ruffus, That's why we come down for April .... weather is great ... water is warming up .... and most of all the price is almost half of March. Hank

2910 and an Envoy XL V8 3.73
We are also considering a 2910 (actually a 2920 with the outside kitchen) - and plan on pulling it with our 7k max tow capacity tow vehicle. It is an envoy xl, 5.3, 3.73 rear end. I hear mixed reviews on how this will do. I dont mind going slow and being careful, as long as it is safe. But I dont want to kill our suv either.
I do plan to upgrade our tv in the near future, but not by much. I would say a GMC Yukon XL with a 6.2, but am surprised to see that would only increase my tow rating by 900 to 7900 (how can that be?). Anyway, looking for any input on this.
One odd thing, the 2920 with the rear kitchen has a 100 lb lower tongue weight than the 2910, but the same overall dry weight. i guess the rear kitchen does that.

KTOSV,
Welcome to the forum
and congrats on being a Keystone owner.
By the way, were you on another forum for R-Vision campers?
I was a moderator over there, then after 4 years we sold our hybrid
Trail Cruiser 21RBH and bought us a Keystone fifth wheel!
In any event - glad to have you with us!
Jo

lol that's Great, Now that's some digging. Prob popped up in a search. We got our 2910 a couple of months ago. We love it. Pulls just fine with our 1500 Express. We have a Duel cam WD hitch. You just can't get to much in a hurry.

We pull our 2910BH with a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali XL and its fine...however I do feel i am close to my weight limits. We had the Chevy version of the Envoy (Trailerblazer) a few years back and wouldnt consider pulling this trailer with that.

We recently sold our 2006 Fleetwood Orbit Hybrid trailer. We really enjoyed it and had 6 good years with. No major repairs needed, but I was told by the dealer when I bought it that I would wind up in a 30 foot trailer someday..so here we are...just bought a brand new 2014 2920BH Passport...and what we are looking forward to the most is backing it in...leveling and start camping.
I haven't towed it far yet...but my GMC Yukon XL 5.3 with 3.92 gear ratio seems to move it just fine. Make sure to get a good brake controller and weight distribution. Takes a little extra juice to get it up to speed..but once on the highway it pulls just great.
Don't even ask me about gas mileage...that is just part of the game we play when towing campers...SHEESH!
