Ideas on using storage the best way

Me again. Like to hear how and ideas how all use their cabinets in Montana HC, kitchen in the rear. Oh sorry for all the questions. Always camped but this is the biggest one we ever owned and slowly heading towards full time RVing. First one is the bathroom. Next two are under the kitchen sink. Big but the corner under the sink. And last pantry, not sure if there is better shelves to use instead what I have now.
Want to use my space wisely.

we put these pull out units in our S&B pantry and have a couple in the Cougar.

As for the bottom "cubby hole" next to the toilet, depending on how much splashing goes on, that's not a very good storage location (unless you put a door on it)....

It makes a person wonder sometimes where they come up with ideas for cabinets and shelves...its obviously not from someone that uses a camper!! Lol!
We have a big space in our pantry or entry closet whichever they want to call it, but I found some adjustable shelf strips that I'll be using to let me adjust the shelves as needed. Here is a link to those and some other neat stuff the company has. Just ordered a full set of door locks and slam latch locks all keyed alike! As for your bathroom opening, if a door will fit without hitting the toilet, that's what I would do there. Possibly one of your existing doors would fit and you could order it with hardware.

The splashing issue is cured by simply sitting. I have been educated by the wife after she made it my job to clean the bathroom.

My Dad must have gotten the same education from my mom, as I remember him correcting me at about age 12 or about splashing.

That might work for the "domesticated males" but trying to convince my grandsons, the neighbor, the BIL, nephews, my fishing and hunting buddies and anyone else who might visit us when camping, feel the urge and use the trailer's facilities, it's tough to remind them as they close the bathroom door, "Oh, don't forget to sit".....

Hmmmm thinking about that statement, if they misinterpret the last word ......

My Mother was on a crusade to fight the "male spray" from my Dad, brother and me!!! I quickly learned the defense and responded "IT WASN'T ME...I SIT!!!"

Back to on-topic. Shelving supplements are great, until the TT starts moving and transforms our TT into an "earthquake on wheels". So, I measured all the door dimensions, and cabinet depths. Went to my nearest Dollar General. They have a large variety of various size plastic boxes with lids...$2 to $6. We spent $50 for boxes that fit nicely into all the cabinets and compartments. This way when traveling we don't find a disaster getting to our destination.

DW and I put nearly everything in these storage boxes...dry and canned foods, spices/condiments, toiletries, medicines, underwear, socks, other clothing, tools, dishes, cups, utensils, pots/pans, DVDs, etc., etc. The boxes are translucent allowing to see contents inside. And the boxes stack nicely doubling storage capacity of some cabinets.

Best rule for RVing...everything has it's place...in a box!

For us first time. It will be our home soon. Always used the bath houses in the past campers.

While in Tucson last month, I saw something and should have taken a photo but... Anyway, some guy built shelves for the outdoor front storage area below the hitch. I am going to do that because right now I just put stuff in there stacked on top of each other and it is hard to access the bottom of the pile. It will have to wait for a while 'cause we are back in cold storage now. But i'll attach a photo when done.

This is my solution to the basement.There are chairs and a Webber BBQ in there also.

Not sure shelves would make it any less a cluster but who knows...
I just put the stuff I need first on top and the DW's stuff on the bottom

That looks like our basement. Now I know we are not the only ones who have totes filling the basement up, lol
