Hello from (snowy) Calgary, Alberta

Hi Folks,

We bought a new 2014 Cougar 27RLSWE in July/14 after kicking a lot of tires. My wife and I started camping in my old truck camper in 1995. Picked up a used 1973 Bonair tent trailer, needed room for her kids. Bought a new 2006 KZ Coyote 22CP (Hybrid) as we moved up in the world. Now with the kids starting their own families and getting their own trailers we sold the Coyote and went with the Cougar.

Was thinking on going to a fifth wheel model but would have had to upgrade my truck (2009 F150 4X4) as the box and GVWR wern't there for what we'd like. So kept the $100K in my pocket and spent a lesser amount to get the 27RLSWE.

We wanted to extend our camping season so the winter package on the unit was just right to keep us warm in the early spring and late fall.
