Raptor 299MP PATIO

We just purchased a 2009 Raptor 299MP. Does anybody out there know of a toy hauler patio that will work with this unit, either Keystone or aftermarket. Thanks

Assuming you are referring to the patio mod that fits on the garage doors...

I stayed away from the patio on my toy hauler. Dealer advised (keep in mind it was the dealer that said this) that with the patio installed on the garage door that the safety rails would have to be removed every time I loaded my golf cart or UTV as the tubing was not strong enough to withstand the weight.
Other items were that the safety rails were kind of flimsy and were not sufficiently strong enough to keep an adult >200lber from falling off the patio (no drinking there bubba!) and that it would take 30-45 minutes to set the patio up or take it down each time I used it (even with some practise).
Almost forgot! The garage door would have to be upgraded for the added weight and this is normally be done at the factory as part of the trailer order instead of a retro install.
So, the dw conceded not to get it! YEAH for me!

same here, passed on the patio kit but did get the pull down channeled screen added to our 297se,so that if the weather is decent we can leave the back open and still keep the bugs out

Not sure about the answer for the original poster but I didn't want to let the negative patio post go unchallenged.

We have this option on our 300mp and couldn't be happier. Setup and tear-down takes a few minutes at most not the 30-45 minutes as posted earlier. When I say a few I am talking five minutes at most and that's only if you are doing it yourself. Also, the safety rails never have to be removed to use the ramp for its main purpose of loading/unloading. They are simply lifted into an upright position. We also have the screen option between the patio and rear garage and like it as well.

I hope you get the answer to your question.

We love our patio on our Raptor 410lev. We also have the awning above. The railings are setup or layed down in about 2 min.

Not disputing the time it takes you to do this, just stating what the DEALER told the DW and I.

We have a 299mp as well. I made my own rear/ramp door patio set up. It was really simple.I used all grade 8 fasteners, pins etc. Purchased the .250" cable measured out to be a 10' length coated cable, stainless cable clamps. Made my own pivot brackets. The dealership said that those were a custom order item. I said B.S. I built my own. 2x2 cold rolled steel, approx 4.00" long. Miter off each end at a 45 deg, opposite. Cut out the remaining sliver that remained. Drilled a .375" hole for a grade 8 pin so that the support cable can go thru and hold the door up. On the underside of the door there is a rubber bumper. I set a slide out support stand just for extra support. We have no railing, and no kids. It works beautifully for my wife and I. We get compliments all of the time.

Just bought a 2011 Fuzion 322 Touring Edition and took it out this last weekend for the first time. We loved the patio and as others said it takes just a few minutes(5-10 at most). Several other campers commented on the patio and how nice it was. We have two small dogs so it was great for them.

Have a 2012 fuzion 310 here and we use the patio all the time.
When we unload the dirt bikes we just pull the sides up and pin them in place.
Can set it up in 10 to 15 min and same with taking it down.

The only down side is that is takes two of us to push the rear door closed when the patio sides are on the rear door.

Ron.
